We are Beartrap Pods, an independent website based in York, UK. Our main focus is audio interviews with bands and comedians, but we try not to limit ourselves. We do written interviews and reviews too, and more recently we've branched out into event promotion and video podcasting.

It all started in November 2007 almost by accident when Craig and Andy decided to quit the University radio society and start a podcasting website, thusly resulting in an interview with MC Lars as a starting point. Since then things have just expanded over the course of a year and look set to carry on in the future

	Craig Slaney When arriving at University, Craig met Andy and set out on a mission. This mission was to make the YSJ radio society into something awesome. This began to happen, however it eventually failed, so we went out on our own, proving that with little effort and low quality sound recording equipment, you can quite easily set up a podcasting site. Along with Andy, he frequently harasses rock stars to make quality entertainment. See, there's more to him than that daft fringe and silly hat.
	Andy Arrowsmith Andy's journey started in the same way as Craig, so we're not going to repeat it because it's highly likely that if you just glance up slightly, you can still see it all on screen. His abundance of energy, no sense of shame and lovable fat-man charm is incredibly useful when dealing with security and bands we've not managed to arrange anything with prior to the event. He also claims to have invented barbeque sauce. We believe this to be untrue.
	Iain Harknett While travelling home one night, Craig and Andy found something under a bridge. After a short discussion, we decided it could be useful to us, so we kept it and called it Iain. It was later revealed that he has fantastic artistic talent and quite a humorous interview technique. Score!
	Hayley Herrick At first she was Craig's girlfriend. Then she became a very close friend and house guest to the rest of Beartrap. She then began doing a lot of background work such as research and promotion. She has now accidentally become much more important than the rest of us, but shhhh, don't tell her that, she might get big headed! She is still Craig's girlfriend and a much loved house guest. She makes good bacon and egg sandwiches.
	Mark 'Frank' Rawson Frank is our webmaster. He's the one who built the website and designed most of it too. Some say he can out-run a cheetah backwards while having a piss. Other say if properly harnessed his bio kinetic energy could power a city for a whole year! We don't believe in that bollocks, he's just Frank, our webmaster.
