Hi there, if you could start by telling us who you are and what you do in the Pink Spiders
I'm Jon Decious and I play bass

Right then, there's no doubt this question has been asked a million times, but how did you come up with the name for the band?
We've been asked this question so many times that I've forgotten the answer. Haha! I guess we made a list of names and that was the one that stood out the most. Also, "The Pink Spiders" is another term for "The Assholes".

Cool, and for those unaware of the Pink Spiders, tell us a little bit about the band's sound?
We're a rock n' roll band. I've never known how to answer that question really so hopefully that will suffice.

So who would you say your biggest influences are?
We like the Rolling Stones, the Who, the Beatles, Cheap Trick, and the Cars. There are so many I'm leaving out, I'm sure, but that's a short answer to a potentially long and drawn out answer.

Having listened to a few of your tracks, especially 'Hollywood Fix', you seem to have quite a fresh sound, something which is quite different to a lot of bands from the "scene." On a personal level, what do you think it is that sets you aside from other bands?
That's a good question, actually. We've always played music that we enjoy and never paid much attention to what others were doing. I'm not sure if it's our influences or what it is that makes us sound different but I'm glad you like it.

You've played with some really big bands like Fall Out Boy and Good Charlotte, if you could tour with any band in the world, who would it be and why?
I would personally love to tour with the Rolling Stones just so to watch them play every night for free!

You're heading out on the Warped Tour soon. Are there any bands in particular you're looking forward to seeing and hanging out with?
It sounds awful, but we've been so wrapped up in things for our upcoming headlining tour I haven't even checked to see who's on Warped tour this year. Hopefully Aiden, because we love to hang out with those guys.

How does your live show differ, if at all, on things like the Warped Tour and other festivals to your own headline shows?
Playing the Warped Tour is a much different experience for both us and the fans than any headlining shows we do. On Warped we (the fans, too) have to find the stage at the beginning of the day and, depending on what time we play, it's possible that we have just woken up which obviously makes for a different show than when we play late in the evening.

For all your fans across the pond, any plans to come over and tour the UK at any point in the near future?
We'd love that. Our UK fans are some of the best!
